Less Sloughing

Our admin needs to step up and start calling people more on sloughing. Kyle used to review hours and hours of our fights, and would bitch a storm if anyone sloughed. Now no one says shit about it, and its become more tolerant and its getting ridiculous.

Its sluffing by the way and we are working on it. We have been keeping an eye on the sluffing and will talk to the people who it involves. If they continue, gassers. We are just making sure it's not just because someone lost a match and got mad. It has happened. Sluffing is terrible and I hate it. It will b fixed.

We've been bitching about it. If I see anyone sluffing at all this sunday they will be called out and if they disagree they are free to prove me wrong.

Pierre, stop while your ahead. Please. If its the same thing to you, then why did you open up your post saying "its sluffing by the way," suggesting I was wrong? I know its the same. thats why I included the part at the bottom from the entry that says "Also, sluff."

Sloughing just looks weird. Sluffing looks better (the word not the action just in case someone reads this and takes it the wrong way).

Ok, ok let's just calm down... I also fully agree with Bobby, and sunday, I'm not going to participate in a lot of fights, I'm going to be watching.... and if I catch anyone sluffing/sloughing... You can be sure that they will get many Gassers

I've only been hearing about this because I'm fighting more and not taking videos, which I'm gonna start doing again. We're going to think of a nice punishment for sluffers real soon, tighten up bitches.

i apologize in advance for sounding stupid but wth is "sloughing/sluffing"? Looking at the definition leads me to believe that it means "to shrug off", but it sounds like you are using it for a different purpose. . . i am confused. . .

to lie about your hits, or to not take them at all. basically cheating, as far as this game is concerned

I see...couldn't the problem be solved by having players alternate and serve as refs?

actually refs may be the only way to solve it, its been my experience that the problem can also occur without intending to. I've had hits that I could swear struck home but the oppponent says didn't and at the same time have had opponents who insist they hit me while I am absolutly certain that I deflected the blow. A third party would seem the only legitimate way to fix the issue.

Thats an idea. I was thinking it should qualify as a duty. In order to keep the game safe and fair everyone should alternate and perform ref duty every so often? Two refs for each match. Obviously in battle situations they wouldn't catch everything, but they should be able to see enough to quell any sloughing going on.

a very good idea Kevin.. I might take up a referee spot this weekend because my hands have finally scabbed over, and i don't wanna wait for them to heal all over again lol.

I like the idea of refs and was thinking about it but no one wanted to sit out. I wouldn't mine sitting out a few games to fix the sluffing problem. I'm tired about people not taking their shots and bitching about it. We are Satsu which means we are the most respectful and honorable clan in the empire, I'm not gonna let that fall.

just throwing it out there. maybe if someone refs a lot they can get a black bead or some kinda bead. black beads are for acts of duty, right?

Yeah I guess that could be good but a black bead isn't doing something because of the reward and knowing its the reward, it's for something you do that you do good and get recognition of, not because of its reward...That's atleast how I feel.

A black bead is for an act of service. Taking home the weapons bag for a month could get you one, or doing something over and over that benefits your clan could be grounds for a black bead as well

well, exactly why it should give black beads if its done repeatedly. whether or not they're doing it because they have some weird obsession with plastic beads or cuz they just feel like it, it's still beneficial. i just think it adds more too it when ur help is recognized and thats why satsu dosnt give out silverware instead. (its nout the BEAD, its what it represents) lol
